TROY (WWJ) – A man who police say raped a teenage runaway will spend the next four to 20 years behind bars.
Christopher George Hill, 48, was sentenced Tuesday in 6th Circuit Court. He had previously pleaded no contest to nine charges, including child sexually abusive activity, using a computer to commit a crime, third degree criminal sexual conduct and domestic violence.
Police say their investigation started in February after they responded to Hill’s Troy home for a reported domestic situation. Information relayed to the police department was that a female at the residence was being “attacked or beaten.”
When police arrived at the home, they found a 17-year-old girl hiding in the basement. Police said the girl had a bruise to her head and minor injuries to her neck and arms, indicating a possible struggle.
